Stupid Pitch?
A three month old puppy called Disa has survived after an operation to remove a 10-and-a-half-inch tent peg that it had eaten. The peg, spotted clearly in an x-ray, was just a few inches shorter than her entire body. Click the post's header for the link.

And I thought it was bad that my dog ate 5 family sized bags of crisps when she was 6 weeks old!
do you ever look at these things though and just think "how?"
i mean physically how?
like tou say, it is only a couple of inches shorter than the hound, and surely a dogs intestines don't just run in a straight line form its gob to its arse?
it hurts my head!
god knows how poochy felt.
I've seen the x-rays - they were on telly. It basically ran from the bottom of its neck to two inches from it's arse. You would've thought they could've opened her mouth and just pulled it out, but I think the hook had lodged into her.
